After breakfast, time to discover the friendly capital of Slovenia, the city of Ljubljana. Gradec (or Gornji Grad, meaning “little town”), formerly a royal town, was fortified against Tatar attacks in the 13th century and some of its medieval walls and porticos still exist today. In Kaptol, an ancient religious settlement, the Episcopal Palace stands out among other things. Free afternoon to enjoy the city on your own.
