Get to know the capital of Croatia during the guided tour of the historic center. The city sat above the twin cities of Gradec and Kaptol on a hill overlooking the plain of the Sava River. Gradec (or Gornji Grad, meaning “little town”), formerly a royal town, was fortified against Tatar attacks in the 13th century and some of its medieval walls and porticos still exist today. In Kaptol, an ancient settlement religious treatment, the Episcopal Palace stands out among other things. Free afternoon to enjoy the city.

DAY 3: PLITVICE - ZADAR

We are heading to discover the interior of Croatia. You will visit one of the most beautiful natural places in all of Europe. Plitvice Lakes National Park consists of 16 lakes interconnected by waterfalls and kilometers of wooden bridges and forest roads. DAY 4: ZADAR - TROGIR/SPLIT

Start the day with a short city tour among the Roman monuments. Zadar was once the important city of the first Croatian Kingdom and today is the administrative and cultural capital of northern Dalmatia. The old forum, the old church of St. Donatus, the cathedral of St. Anastasia and many more will surprise you. Of course, you will also visit one of the most important attractions: the sea organ, an experimental instrument that reproduces music through the waves of the sea. In the afternoon we travel to Split with a stop in Trogir, an ancient city full of magical palaces. Visit of the historic center. Accommodation in the Trogir or Split area and free time.

Split is the administrative and cultural capital of Dalmatia. The ancient city center with its Roman Palace of Diocletian is part of the UNESCO Heritage Site and the most attractive Roman monument in Croatia. We started the day exploring the city center. In the afternoon, I return to the hotel.

After breakfast, departure to Dubrovnik. The unique jewel of the Adriatic coast, it is one of the most iconic cities in the world. The city-state of Dubrovnik was one of the most important commercial cities in the entire Adriatic region. Visit the old part of the city and discover its ancient secret. You will be fascinated by the entrance to the city - the Pile Gate, the Franciscan Monastery, the Rector's Palace. Free afternoon to explore the city on your own.
